Meet Naomi
Hello, I am Naomi, founder of NC Nourish, a mum of two boys 2 and 5 and a Registered Dietitian.
Life is hectic, loud and messy but equally full of laughter, joy and toilet humour! Transitioning into motherhood has been a huge learning curve; adapting to limited time, chronic sleep deprivation and the requirement of more patience than I was blessed with, navigating this is an ongoing process. Supporting my body with nutrition and movement has been key through this phase of life, building little habits that I can stick to and don’t have to think about whilst juggling the never-ending mental load.
NC Nourish was born out of the desire to empower and support other women too, to achieve their goals and provide clarity in a world full of misleading advice, abundance of information and noise.
Food should be nourishing but tasty and bring joy. When we are busy; deciding on food then preparing can become a chore, time consuming and feel impossible to keep on top of, especially when we add in the mix of preferences, allergies and others demands.
More than this the world we live in is focused on appearance, how we look, our value frequently held to our body shape. Our weight alone does not determine our health, our bone health, heart health, brain health. To truly be healthy we must support, nourish and replenish our body.

Experience
As a Registered Dietitian; I have worked within the NHS in a clinical role as well as working as a Specialist Dietitian in a complex weight management service. However, I struggled with the lack of time I could give to support women with PMOS (previously PCOS), thyroid disease, gut and hormone health.
That is why NC Nourish has been designed to be able to truly listen, hear your concerns, give the time, provide ongoing support and make the resources personal.
Depending on what season of life you are in now, no doubt time is precious. I offer a range of packages that are suitable for wherever you are at now and will help support moving you towards your goals.

Health and Care Professionals Council: Register number DT03007
British Dietetic Association Full member.
The term Dietitian is protected by law, we are the only nutrition professionals that are regulated by law, we are governed by an ethical code. Before choosing to work with a nutrition professional or health care professional review their governing body and accreditations. You can easily access the register on the HCPC website to check credentials.
